The ones that you want to avoid are easily digested and turn to sugar in your body. Things like white bread and rice, cakes, soda, chips, candy and processed foods. Most of them have no nutritional value whatsoever. Of course, these are the most tempting foods to eat.
These foods will cause problems such as heart disease, diabetes, and you may gain weight. Obesity is a growing problem nationwide due to the poor food choices that people make every day. Eating foods with bad carbohydrates has also been linked to arthritis and Alzheimer’s disease.
What is the solution? Simply start replacing the bad foods containing carbohydrates with the good foods. It really is that easy. Take baby steps. If you do not buy the food that contains mass amounts of fat and bad carbohydrates then you will not eat them. At least, not when you are at home and eventually you will notice that you start making better food choices.
